i have somehow got my photos to save as photos ink therefore i cannot post them.
my computer speak not good plain english will help'

i need to get my photos on to a disk that can be used on cd and dvd
i think i have disks and dvds in every format  butttttttttttt which one to use + -

please

You sure its "ink" and not "lnk" (with a lower-case L rather than an upper-case I )?

In which case you are looking at (probably) desktop shortcuts to files, whose actual location can be found by right-clicking the desktop icon and looking at the properties> target

I googled it and there is a .ink file type.

If you can still open the files on your computer, try re-saving them in the correct format.  When you "Save as" you should see a box offering different file types. Choose .jpg.
