Where Buried?
« on: Sunday 14 June 09 12:30 BST (UK) »

Hi All

I have Elizabeth JACKSON died Apr 1/4 1901 Tadcaster wife of Richard JACKSON who died Sep 1/4 1906 Tadcaster.

Can anyone tell me where they may likely be buried?

I have sent away for the death certificates to get the exact dates that they died.

Any help appreciated

You've given Tadcaster, yet that is a registration district, not just a village.
They are likely to have been buried near to where they were living at 1901...

Hi Pauline

The couple were residing in Beech Grove Terrace in Garforth, Yks.

However, I know they are not there as my mum before she passed away had checked there.  She did however, locate their sons Fred (with his son Joseph), Joseph and Walter who were both killed in the Micklefield Colliery Disaster.

So my question really should be are there any other graveyards in the Garforth area?

Regards
