Hello all

Has anyone access to information on Rogers of Kenley or Cressage in the mid 18thC. ?  I am trying to find Grace Rogers, probably born sometime in the 1740's or 1750's, though not neccesarily born there.  She had a daughter Mary christened in May 1781, and a son listed as christend in 1769, both in Kenley. 

Mary is listed in the Sheinton Register 1754-1812 Vol 2 for her birth it says

"06 May 1781 Mary d. of Grace Rogers, the bace of spring of Hore bap." 

does anyone know what the 'bace of spring' bit means?  I assumed it was simply saying "base offspring" ie illegitemate child, and this doesnt say alot for the 'Hore' bit.  But three children were baptised, which I didnt think would be allowed if they were all illegitimate?  But I cant find any hint of a marriage?

Can any one help?
