Kishorn - Lochcarron or Applecross?
« on: Thursday 25 June 09 21:05 UTC (UK) »

Kishorn seems to be in between both parishes. To which one did it belong in the 19th century? Need to know to search in the right one.

Thanks,
Francisco

Hi

According to this parish map, it looks like Applecross:

But I'd be tempted to look in both parishes just in case. If they had to go over that high track, it would be easier to get to Lochcarron  Undecided

Thanks, Gadget. Will try Applecross first then, especially for censuses, and if nothing there I'll have to try Lochcarron.

Best regards,
