Hi
Trying to find information out about Robert Tasker born late 1700,s in Grindleton, he married a lady called Betty unsure of surname but was from same Area, they had a daughter called Alison Tasker born 1776 and she married James Atkinson from Bolton By Boland, any information on dates and siblings to the marriage of Robert and Betty would be very much appreciated

Robert Tasker Christening 26th Feb 1738-- father WILLIAM. Bolton by Bowland.
Is that the same one?

Sounds like the same person,Alison married William Smethurst , there the parents of Elizabeth Smethurst who married James Atkinson if that makes sense to you

Hi Linda, are you after Robert Tasker's marriage?
There is a possible one here, on IGI batch no M004673 for Downham, Lancashire:
Robert Tasker m Elizabeth FORT, 13 Feb 1773
Although Downham is in Lancashire, it's only 2 miles down the road from Grindleton and 5 miles from Bolton by Bowland.
