Looking for Susannah Tellis

Susannah Margaret Tellis, born c. 1820, married John Saxby 1841 in Westminster.  Her mother's name was Margaret, but I've come to a stalemate regarding any info relating to Margaret's husband & Susannah's father.  It's possible his name is James.  There seems to be a large variety of spellings - Tallis, Tellis, Tullis, Tillis etc.  If anyone can throw some light on it, I would appreciate it. Many thanks.

National School
Susannah Saxby age 25 school mistress not born in county
Margaret Tellis age 60 Scotland
next page
Back Lane
James Tellis age 4 born in county
Sarah Marris or Harris age 15 born in county
Mary Readon age 45 Ireland


The marriage certificate will give the father
 Susanna Margaret Tellis married John Saxby 1841 march quarter St Martin in the fields Middlesex   v1   page 107

Yes, I'm sure that's her - mother & daughter were at some school together in 1841 - I just didn't have any further information & had been looking at English records for Margaret's marriage etc.  Thanks a lot. Every little bit of info helps, doesn't it?

I have Susannah's marriage reg, & it shows James Tellis. But, he's a hard man to find. I found a marriage for a James Tellis & Margaret Meek at St Martins in the Field in 1807 on IGI & at this stage is a strong possibility.  At the moment I'm unable to access records other than on free sites so haven't been able to get too far.  Haven't found James on the freeCen or on free BMD's.  Which is why I was asking for help.
