Looking for information on the descendants of William Hourston (b.1860) and Stuart Laughton Davidson (b.1871) married April 6, 1893 in Holm, Orkney.  They had at least 14 children.

Thanks for the info. and it does open up a new can of worms.  I have no idea who Isabella (the grand-daughter) belongs to.

ps. where is this info coming from?  Maybe I can fill in more holes in the tree.

William and Stuart did have 15 children although George died as a child. Of the other 14 only 1 remains living, still in Orkney, well into her 90s. One of the other girls lived to be 105 so obviously a hardy lot! My gran was numer 11 in the family.

By my records, that I got from the family records when I was last in Orkney in 1999, that would make your gran Winnifred Amy Hourston, born in 1912, died March 1, 1966, buried in Shore Road Cemetery, Evie.  I have no knowledge of her husband, children, and grandchildren.  If you could help, that would be great.

Winnie was number 13 in the family, she never married and had no children. My granny was Florence who married and had 4 children and 10 grandchildren.

How much of the family tree have you managed to trace? Are you related in someway - it's a huge family!!
