Leonie, Welcome to rootschat
Some questions if I may?... have you looked for baptisms on the parish regs [ on familysearch site] where you believed they lived when their children would have been born?
Maybe worth checking 1841 census to see if James and Catherine are still alive then and if there are any likely offspring living nearby...
This is pretty basic suggestions but maybe it gives some new ideas Why not also check out if anyone else on RC is researching this family? Go to Surname button on top LHS of this page, 4th from left and ch3ck it out and leave your enries there also. Good hunting

Hi Leonie,
I saw your posting about Elizabeth Little Randolph who married William Isham Eppes. With full recognition that this is off topic for your posting...
I am researching their son William Randolph Eppes (b. 14 Oct 1794 in St. John’s, Newfoundland / d. 12 Aug 1849 at Newcastle, St Andrews Parish, Jamaica) and his wife Eliza McLoughlin, daughter of Hudson's Bay Company Chief Factor Dr John McLoughlin and Marguerite Waden.
I know that ELR & WIE's two daughters both went out to Australia: Elizabeth Randolph Eppes - she married Thomas Quinton Stow in 1828 in Colchester, Essex, England. They had eight children Adelaide Isham Eppes – who married John Sabine, had five children
Also WRE & EM's son, John St Henry Randolph Eppes (b. 18 Jun 1838 at Quebec City or at St John's NFLD) also went out to Australia departing 9 Sep 1859 and that the family back in Canada received letters from him at Marlborough, Queensland until the 1870s.
Has your research into the Australian side of the family, come across John St Henry Randolph Eppes?
Also in case you don't have the notices about ELR & WIE's deaths... SOUTHAMPTON Saturday 4th October 1823 Died, on Saturday morning, in this town, after a tedious and painful illness, Wm. Isham EPPES Esq. aged 63, of Salem, New England, North America.
The Times on Wednesday 10th January 1844: DIED - On the 28th ult, at her son's house Bedford, after a short illness, in her 81st year, Elizabeth, widow of William Isham EPPES, Esq.
Hope some of this is new for you...
Lili

Researching the descendants of John Eddie Kennedy & Jean Burns of Falkirk, Denny and Kilsyth. They were married 15 Feb 1822 in Cumbernault, Dunbarton, Scotland. They had 12 children - 4 died young, 2 followed their husbands to Australia and 6 came to Canada with them in 1852/3. Any help at all is appreciated. Thanks!

In the case of White v St Barbe in 1813 (which dealt with the affairs of Catherines parents, Alexander St Barbe and Mrs Christian St Barbe) it was reported that Catherine died in 1809.
To see full report go into Google Books and search for "Christian St Barbe".
You will also pick up details of the death of the daughter Christian St Barbe Rees (nee Randolph) with this search.
If you want to follow the family forward: Times 3rd November 1855 Marriages - On the 1st inst., at St Pancras Church, Alfred Slater Esq., to Catherine St Barbe Rees, only child of the Rev David Rees, late of The Rectory, Scole, Norfolk

Hi Lili,
Just read your posting, regarding John Randolph. There is no Marlborough in Queensland. there is a Maryborough and a Marlborough in New Zealand. This might explain why you are having some trouble finding records.
Cheers
Julie
