Baptism lookup - CHATFIELD in High Halden

Hi,

I was wondering whether someone with access to the parish records for High Halden could check for a baptism entry for Thomas Chatfield, born c. 1788.

Hi Mathew

I could not find Thomas Chatfield, born c. 1788 at High Halden but I did find a later Thomas baptised in 1822 son of Thomas and Lydia.

It's the right family - do you have access to the marriage entries as well just to see if there is an entry for Thomas and Lydia?

They do not appear to have married in High Halden but do appear as witnesses to a mariage in 1817 for a Thomas Young and Sarah Sounder.

My guess is they maried else where and then settled in High Halden.

Hi Linda,

I was wondering whether you could also confirm a baptism on 14 July 1816 for William Sharp in High Halden. I am finding conflicting reports that he was either baptised or buried on this date.
