Report of inquest 1944
« on: Saturday 25 July 09 10:47 UTC (UK) »

Hi,
Can anyone tell me which newspaper an inquest would have been reported in?
The inquest was held on 20 Sep 1944 and concerns William Howlett who lived in Wendover. He had been serving as an able seaman and is listed on the CWGC as a war casualty but his death certificate states he died from complications from a fractured skull but doesn't give any details as to how or where this happened.
I'm afraid I don't know anything about papers in Buckinghamshire so hoping someone can help.
Thanks.

The Bucks Herald covers Aylesbury & The Bucks Free Press covers High Wycombe, it could be either, but Wendover is closer to Aylesbury.
