Trying to find the dates of a marriage and any children to the marriage if possible.
John Atkinson late 1700,s Bolton By Boland married a Millicent Robinson born aprox 1785 one of the children was James Atkinson born 1806 Bolton By Boland.
Any help would be very much appreciated

Linda, have found the following on IGI. All state Father John Atkinson and mother Millicent (Millison) Robinson. Some of these births do not tally with marriage which is said to be around 1806?? See what you think.

 Brilliant Dee thank you so much, i will go through the names, i know James Atkinsons father was called John Atkinson and his mother was Millicent/Millison Robinson,think they was married in 1806 in Bolton By Boland.
James Atkinson married Elizabeth Smethurst daughter of William Smethurst and Allison Tasker from Gisburn and Grindleton.
I did find an aprox birth date for John Atkinson 1781 Bolton by Boland

Linda, I cannot find with my limited resources the birth or marriage dates for John & Millicent. IGI states about 1806, but looking at the dates of all these births, it makes Millicent look as though she is having children from about the age of 10!!! I've had a look around for the Records and is appears some are held in Lancashire. The Parish Records for Bolton by Bolland/Bowland are held in Lancs.

It's not much help at the moment, but I will keep checking to see what else I can find.

I got the same date has you on the marriage,maybe John Atkinson was married before and had children and Millisent took them has her own 
Its certainly a hard to find out about this family
