Help please - 1901 Census - Witts
« on: Tuesday 16 June 09 20:39 UTC (UK) »

Hi,

I am trying to locate members of the Witts family of Bristol in the 1901 census. They appear in the 1891 Census RG12 P 1993 F 23 Pg 39 and then in 1911 living at 85 Vicarage Road.

They seem to be a little fluid with their first names so the following may be used in different combinations or they could even use names I don't yet know of.

George James Witts b1846 Bristol Plumber/Gas Fitter
(Emily/Ellen/Emma) Sophia Witts (nee Cooper) b1847 Ashley Down Bristol
Alfred Henry Witts b1879 Milford Pembrookshire
Edward George Witts b 1883 Milford Pembrookshire
(Harold/Herbert) Henry Witts b 1886 Barton Regis Bristol

There are other children, as can be seen on the 1891 census, but the others are accounted for.

Help on this one would be greatly appreciated as it would save what little hair I have left.

Many thanks - FS
