Hello Soulsister

I am so sorry you will have to wait a while. I am in Wales until Sunday so not able to access my records.

Hi again Soulsister

I am home again. Sorry but I have checked and there are no Dougans or Bunyans in the MIs for Dalrymple.

I am sorry I cannot help you.

Wales was lovely.

Nevermind, thanks for looking Judy!

As for Lewins, all of mine seem to be around Leicestershire, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire and Huntingdonshire. If your friend gets a link to any of these places then feel free to contact me as my Lewin file is the biggest of all my files!  Grin

Hi, I would be interested in an MI look-up.

I am looking for grave / MI of Ann (Burnside) Pat(t)erson who died 16 June 1858. Possibly resting with her would be her husband William who died before 1851.
Also their daughter in law Agnes (Eaglesome) Pat(t)erson who died 1885, her husband William John Pat(t)erson who died 1909.
families all lived at Dalrymple Street, Girvan.
Thanks in advance for any help

Gill

I think that you may have misunderstood about Dalrymple.

Dalrymple is a small village a few miles south east of Ayr, whereas Girvan is a town many miles from Dalrymple situated on the coast in a south-westerly direction.

There is, unfortunately, no mention of the names you quote in the Monumental Inscription Booklet for Dalrymple which I have.
