Topic: Looking for Samuel & Annie (Doyle) Jones, living in Gateshead 1911 Census. (Read 291 times)

Hi everyone,
Hope someone out there may be able to help me find descendants of my Gt Gt Uncle Samuel Jones ,born Oswestry, Shropshire in 1878 & his wife Annie (Doyle) Jones, born Ireland approx 1875.
The 1911 Census shows him living in Gateshead, with Annie and the following children:
Mary 8 & James 6, both born in Manchester.
John 4, born in Jarrow.
Fred 2, born in Gateshead.
Don't know how to trace the family after 1911.
Maybe someone out there has similar names in their Family History which could link to mine.
I have placed this post on the Durham board but no luck so far. I'm thinking that the family may have moved to the other side of the Tyne - Newcastle area, so I'm giving it a shot on this board as well.
I'd appreciate any leads.

Not easy !
1) Tracking by BMDs
e.g. A child Samuel Jones ( with mother's maiden name, was registered within Gateshead RD March Qtr 1912)
Although plenty of Jones/Doyle birth registrations, no more in Co Durham or Northumberland.
Tracing death registration may at least give end of the "window"
2) Electoral Registers tracking... you will know where they lived in 1911.. so that starting point for spotting them in ERs
3) Newspapers, spotting articles , bmd etc- placing adverts yourself
Not easy !
