The IGI has one of those entries submitted by an LDS member (i.e. treat with caution!):

Halifax  19 May 1723 Isaac Ingham & Mary Ingham.

The marriage would be at the right time for them to be the parents of children baptised in nearby Elland from 1724 (just recorded with father's name Isaac).

Could anyone please check to see if the marriage did actually take place and, if so, was the bride's surname really also Ingham?

Unfortunately not, John. One of the member submitted IGIs says Norland, Halifax but Norland was in Elland parish so I don't think that's much help as I've got Elland PRs and the marriage isn't there.
