Lillie O'Rourke St Michaels Church, Limerick
« on: Saturday 10 October 09 10:30 UTC (UK) »

I have seen the Pension record for Frederick Matthew Walter Lamble and he married Liilie O'Rourke on 12 Oct 1898 at St Michaels Church, Limerick.
The 1911 census shows that one of their children died before 1911 almost certainly in Ireland as the had a daughter Violet born Limerick 1909  and a daughter Margaret born 1910 in Doncaster.
Frederick was in the Army.
I have no more information about Lillie O'Rourke or the name of the child who died and would appreciate any help at all

I have been given marriage details which show she was called Elizabeth Kate O'Rourke age 18 in 1898 and her father was John O'Rourke a carpenter.
I now know the names of the children.
The address she gave was  Vizes Fields... is this the name of a village or town ??

Vizes fields was a small area of cottages in the town of Limerick, my grand parents lived there so I knew it well.   The mid 60s most of the people were rehoused and the cottages were demolished.

Thank you Limerick Lad.
I was confused about Limerick being a Town, City and a County but clear now
