do anyone know if cambridgeshire has marriage indexes on line like the 1801 to 1837 baptism and burial indexes.

Certainly FreeReg has good coverage for marriages in Cambs, better than a lot of counties.
Don't know of any other complete online pre 1837 source but if there is a name in particular that you need I will look on whatever records I have.

I only have index and not transcripts for the parishes you might be interested in so poss the following are not relevant but someone else may be able to offer more:
Elizabeth Gifford 1822 Oakington Banns 1822 (there are marriages in other various Cambs parishes)
Mary Gifford 1812 Over Marriage (again others in other parishes)
Sarah Gifford 1820 Oakington Marriage (other etc)
So many Giffords about!

The details from the banns in Oakington
Elizabeth Gifford, otp married John Swan of Barnwell in 1822.
Sarah Gifford married John Laxton 16 Feb 1820 in Oakington. Wits Robert Laxton and Elizabeth Gifford.
Mary Gifford otp, married William Laws Shrewsbury of Littleport. 8 Jun 1812 in Over. Wits George Gifford and William Ingle Robinson.

Hi,
The only two marriages for Alexander Gifford on the Cambridgeshire index are one in 1650 at Dry Drayton and one in 1749 in Longstanton, details Alexander Gifford marr Elisabeth Collett on 17 July 1749.
Theres no marriage for a James Desborough Gifford.
