MANNING in Whittlesey
« on: Saturday 13 June 09 14:37 UTC (UK) »

Thomas and Ann MANNING died 1838 and 1839 respectively in Whittlesey leaving two children (Ann and Thomas) who I find working/living for other families in 1841. The family is listed in the 1830 Poor Law Paper index as receiving a Settlement.

Would anyone have access to Poor Law Papers and might be able to tell me a little more about the MANNINGs.  Any bits of info would be great.
Thanks

Hi,
Thomas and Ann and their two children Thomas and Ann were removed from Whittlesey to Thorney in 1830.
Thats all I can tell you I'm afraid.

Thanks  Tempsford

That explains a little why daughter Ann was with the Kisby family in Thorney in the 1841 census.

Every little bit helps
