It really does help if you make your posts a bit clearer and with more details to help us give you information or suggestions where to search.

Are you trying to find a death certificate for Edward McGrath? If so, civil registrion in Ireland started in 1864 so if he died 1864 or later you can search the indexes to civil registration here:
http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#p=collectionDetails;t=searchable;c=1408347
With the details from the index you can order a certificate:
www.groireland.ie/apply_for_a_cert.htm

If the death was before 1864 then you need to start looking for church records, etc.

Are you looking for the death of Edward McGrath? If so, you will need to search for church records since civil registration of deaths started in 1864.
