I am looking for a [flash=200,200][/flash]church at Dunhope When the four Johnston boys  William,Charles.robert,&George came back from the War Their parents donated a mace bell to it. The parents were George anderson  AngryJohnston,& his wife Issabella Millar

i thought it might  be dudhope church but this closed in 1909

Hi Carol.  It is actually Dudhope Church.  If you Google 'Dudhope Church, Dundee' you'll find several sites giving its history, location etc.,

Thanks to you I have found a copy of Mr Johnsons donation in a newspaper clipping. And see he bought a manse for the minister,and 1000pounds to endow it.also completeing the tower. Caroldawn
