Missing Alice from Stamford

Does anyone have Alice Knowles in their tree?  Born 1919 Stamford, Lincs.
Father - Joseph Knowles b 1877 Ashwell, Rutland
Mother - Annie nee Barnes b 1882 Stamford
lst child - Annie Elizabeth b 1907
2nd child - Walter b 1910

I have seen a photograph of the three children taken about 1925, but she seems to vanish after that date.  She is not on a family wedding photo taken 1938.

Did she die? Did she marry out of the area? Or did she just want to vanish?
