On my grandfathers death certificate it says p.m certificate received from coroner of the county of Wilts. He died in hospital at Devizes in 1940. Would this record be still available. I would appreciate any suggestions many thanks. T

Hi,

The local records office might have the record;  if not they can advise you as to which local newspapers might have reported  the Inquest.

I've searched for 2 Inquest reports, both in London.  I found one (1908) but the other (1914) I only found a newspaper account.
