I am looking to trace details of my mother's parents and grandparents in South Africa. Her name is Catherine Elizabeth Meyer nee Kannemeyer born November 1923 and died 6 September 2001. Any help wll be appreciated.

Hello Elrich

You don't say if your mother was born, and/or, died is South Africa?

If she died in South Africa, you could apply for a copy of her Death/Estate Notice from the SA national archives site,  NAAIRS.  Her Death Notice is likely to list both her parents, along with other details.

On the NAAIRS site there are several Kannemeyers whose Death Notices are listed, obviously, hopefully some will be your grandparents and g grandparents, a sample:

1884   -   Edward Thomas Kannemeyer       1884   -   Abraham Kannemeyer
1888   -   Frederick Kannemeyer                  1888   -   Henry David
1891   -   Gideon Kannemeyer                     1894   -   James Henry Kannemeyer
