Hi,
I am researching Banks from Wirral, Cheshire.  My ggg grandfather Joseph Banks b. 1776 in Thingwall, Wirral;  married Ellen Whitehead b. 1773 Heswall. Married 1797 at Upton.. Children:- Mary b. 1799; Ann b. 1797; John b. 1803; Joseph 1805 - 1806;Joseph 1807 - 1880; Ellen b. 1810; Robert; 1812 -1812; Susannah b. 1813; Bessie b. 1815; Robert 1817 - 1832>

My gg grandfather Joseph Banks b. 1807 in Heswall, married Elizabeth Whitehead b. 1813 in Neston, Wirral.
Children:- Mary b. 1836; Robert  1838 - 1838; Robert 1839 - 1870; Joseph b. 1841; John b. 1843; Ann b. 1844;
Ellen b. 1847; Sarah 1849 -1854; Susannah b. 1851; Elizabeth b. 1852; Sarah b. 1854; Jane b. 1857.

My great grandfather John Banks b. 1843 married Ann Lightfoot (nee Birch) in 1875.  Their children all born in Heswall were:-  Edith (Ada) b. 1876 m. Samuel Edwards; William b. 1878 (my grandfather) m. Sarah Bailey;  Mary b. 1880 m. George Milner; James b. 1883 m Hannah Trueman; Ann b. 1885; Elizabeth b. 1887;  I would love to hear from any descendants.
