Sow Hall or Sough Hole Ecclesfield

A Norburn ancestor was baptized in Ecclesfield, Yorkshire in 1726 while the family resided in Sowhall or Sow Hall.  The later-born siblings were baptized while the family resided in Thorp/Hesley/Thorp Hesley.
Can anyone tell me where Sow Hall is or was located, relative to Thorp?  I can't find the former on any map or in a gazetteer.  Thanks much.

This illustrates how big the ancient Parish of Ecclesfield was. Thorpe Hesley is now in Rotherham district, and Sough Hall was in Thorpe Hesley.

Sough Hall is named on the 1855 Ordnance Survey map at http://www.old-maps.co.uk, with co-ordinates of 437500 596500. It was to the south of the centre of the village. The name has gone from the 1892 edition, though the building may still have been there (the map is not of high enough quality to be sure).

There are modern roads in Thorpe Hesley called Sough Hall Rd, Sough Hall Ave, and Sough Hall Crescent.

Thanks so much for your extremely quick and comprehensive response.
The map I have at home was made in 1901 (1905 edition) and does not show Sough Hall as such.  It does show Sough Hall Road, very close to the Holy Trinity Church.
