Aspatria -LDS Marriage records pre 1813

I am researching the REAY family.  On the LDS website they indicate that they only hold marriage records for Aspatria Parish for the period 1813-1843.  Does anyone know if earlier marriage records exist anywhere for this Parish?

You have misread the situation - IGI Batch M043002 has marriages at Aspatria 1814-43, but Batch C043001  M043001 has 1663-1813.  You will find seven REAY marriages in that batch.

Thankyou, I struggle with the LDS referencing system.  I will go and order this at the local office.  I am looking for a marriage of John REAY to Mary.  kim

I am afraid I rarely worry about the LDS referencing system.  I just do a general search on the IGI for the county with approximate dates and then click on the batch number of the useful entries and see what comes up if I just enter a surname.   It is possible to find other family members that way.   Looking at the film is the best way though so being near to a history centre is a great boon.
