Hi, Thanks for you response.
Here is what I have on my Bixby's.
James Bixby b. ca. 1802, Chadwell Heath, Essex
m. Mary ? ca. 1840 she was b. ca. 1815, Ilford.
Children:
1) Edward b. 1841 Barking, m. Ruth Lucking 11 July 1871 at
Great Ilford. d. 1903 at Dagenham, bd. 10 Mar 1903 at St. Peter & St. Paul. Dagenham.
2) William b. 1850, Chadwell Heath
3) Mary Ann b. 1854, Chadwell Heath
4) George b. 1857, Chadwell, m. Eliza ? ca. 1880 at Romford, d. 1932 Dagenham, bd. 14 Oct 1932 at St. Peter & St. Paul,Dagenham.
Edward & Ruth had the following children:
1) Elizabeth Ann b. 1872, Barking
2) Edward William b. 1873, Barking, d. 1895, Romford
3) Robert James (James Robert) b.1874, Barking
4) Frederick b. 1876,Barking
5) Kate b. 1878, Barking, m. 16 April 1904 at St. Mary's at Romford, Ernest Marriage. d. 1946, Romford
6) Mary Ann b. 1879, Barking, m. 1898 at Romford, John William Cuffley.
7) Robert b. 1881 Chadwell Heath
 Florence b. 1884, Chadwell Heath
9) Edith b. 1886, Chadwell Heath
Hope we have the same family.

Hi,
It does look like we are dealing with the same Bixby family.
My side comes from George's brother Edward & his wife Ruth.
I only have 4 children for George. Mary, Rose, William & Thomas.
You are the first person I have been in contact with on this family. There are a lot of Bixby's in the Barking & Romford area & all related to each other. Trying to untangle them is taking time.
As for my Olley side, they are from Rayleigh & Thundersley.

Hi pmc49. I have a Marriage from Essex. Susan Marriage who married Samuel Cowell at White Notley on 11 December 1823. Samuel Cowell appears to have been my GGGrandfather but I have yet to prove it definitively. If I am right, they moved to Orsett after their marriage. Susan Marriage does not appear to have been baptized in White Notley so presumably was born elsewhere but I have not been able to trace any other details about her - yet!

I do not know where my Ernest Marriage is from. Still looking.
He married Kate Bixby in 1904 in Romford.
If I come across any reference to your Marriage I will let you know.
