Looking for information on any Clunne or Clunn families possibly Isleworth, Middlesex, especially any marriages to a Pryce or Price, also christenings of the following children around 1773 parents unknown.
Cordelia Pryce Clunne b c 1773
Thomas Pryce Clunne around the same era.
Both children above were married on the same day, same Church in 1804 London -
Thomas died prior to 1841 Census. He lived in Milton by Gravesend, Kent. I have no death for him.
Cordelia married a widower John Wigley. She died 1852 Aberayron, Wales. 1851 Census said her POB was Isleworth Middlesex, but the Isleworth was later crossed out.
Thank you MC

The only Prerogative Court of Canterbury will for Clunne is this one

Thanks Carole for picking up on that mistake. I have modified it as suggested...now I know what that little modify button is used for!
:)Valda you have gone to a lot of trouble for me, and I appreciate your assistance, thank you.
The ones from the Mansion of Glandulas, Llanidloes was exactly where I've been heading for a long time, but I was trying to narrow down the field, and working backwards of course is always the best way.
As for Pryse Clunne I know who his parents and grandparents were. Plus the year he married Mary Foulkes really fits the bill as they say, but I haven't been able to locate births of any of their children, if they had any, and he was the eldest son so that could suggest there were other sons. I know all about Margaret and she was one of three girls and she is definitely related to the Pryse Clunnes also...everything about them suggests that.
It looks as though I will have to look into buying some of these wills - never done it before from overseas and don't know exactly how to go about it...out of my comfort zone..but will have to learn.
FH is all about getting that proof isn't it? Someone said without it, ones FH is nothing but a work of fiction. MC

Hi MC
Buying the will from The National Archives is quick and easy - you need a credit card. Just follow the instructions and you get the will immediately. It will be in secretarial hand (the wills were copied into ledgers) so will not be straight forward to read.
The National Library of Wales (I've never ordered from them) looks as if you have to place an electronic order.
