Hi from Australia,
I'm just trying to tie up some loose ends between branches of the Warnock family who came to Australia.
Robert Warnock 1796, County Down married Abigail Porter.

Son Hugh c. 1832 came to Oz and was my GG Grandfather.
Another son was James Warnock, whose son was Dr James Warnock.
Daughter Abigail Warnock married Hugh Caldwell who died before her.

The family story is , that Dr James paid for some of Abigail's children to come to Australia with Hugh.

I can't find any records to show who Roberts parents were or his siblings.

I am trying to establish is there is a connection between the above family and that of William Caldwell Sherrard Warnock, born Ireland 1854.
Father Dr John Warnock, mother Ellen Sherrard.

Anyone researching Warnock's who can help?
