John William Vickers & Emma Robson my grandparents

Which is correct wife?
« on: Saturday 20 June 09 09:12 UTC (UK) »

I have been researching the ancestors of my 3x gr grandmother JANE RUDD whose father is named as THOMAS. She was born in St Nicholas parish Durham but married in St Mary le Bow North Bailey. As St Mary le Bow is such a tiny parish and as there are so many THOMAS RUDDs there I am finding it very difficult.
I have found from both IGI and Durham Records on line entries for THOMAS RUDD back to 1630 and the birth and marriage dates would suggest that they are all descendants of this man.
The problem comes when I find THOMAS RUDD born 29 Aug 1667. From the various records he was married 8 Aug 1695 to MARY at St Mary le Bow or to ISABEL HENDRY 8 Aug 1696 at Sherburn House. I think he was REV. THOMAS RUDD from my gleaned info although IGI suggests that he was married to MARY and his PARENTS were REV THOMAS RUDD and ISABEL HENDRY.
Are the original records , held at Durham University I think, available to the general public?

Has anyone any suggestions as to where else I can look?
