Hi Nemo,

Slight correction as to churches in Redditch.  For several hundred years St. Bartholmew, Tardebigge was the church for the hamlet of Redditch.  In 1770, as Redditch started to grow, St. Stephen's, on Church Green, was the C of E Church in the town.  It wasn't until 1902 that St. George was opened.

See http://www.worcesterbmsgh.co.uk/Redditch.html

Cheers

Mike
