i know sarah`s husband was from little bromley essex so whether or not my grandad thought she was aswell i`m not sure but i`m all confused now... Embarrassed

I think the one we found you is a fairly safe bet. 

Look at the evidence -
Living in right place
1901/1911 Census - with brother Joseph - witness at wedding
Father - Benjamin - on marriage cert and in 1901 census
Wedding witness - Joseph (this Sarah's younger brother.)

Only thing going against her is your knowledge of her birthplace.

Added: How likely are you to find another Sarah Elizabeth Child with a father called Benjamin and another relative called Joseph? No one here has been able to offer any alterative suggestions

Marriage certs can give a lot of clues to help you progress with your tree - witnesses are often useful as they can be relative. If you order the certificate you can ask them to check that Sarah's father is called Benjamin. If the father had a different name they wouldn't issue the certificate and would refund some of the fee - not sure how much.

Emily Jessop sister-in-law aged 11

Living at High Street South Benfleet

I'd take a guess that Emily was Florence's sister and therefore her maiden name was Jessop.

thanks for that but i already have it but thank u anyway....i looked on latter day saints(i forgot about that site)and it says that benjamin child married to prudence that he was born in hull not leeds like ya said(i`m not saying ur all wrong by the way Smiley)and on sarahs marriage cert she spelt her last name childs not child does this matter much?(sorry for being a pain)

Hi Blackangel, you're not a pain, please never be afraid to ask, people are happy to help and you've been polite to reply promptly. We all like to feel appreciated but enjoy the hunt for relatives.

Names vary as most census were not filled in by the family but by an enumerator - the 1911 census was the first one filled in by the household and does contain interesting extras - like number of years married, number of child, number of children who died etc.
