Hi Kirsty

I think Esther is still in Bradfield, Essex in 1851 (as she was in 1841).  The whole entry is difficult to read and is badly transcribed.

The name is clearly Ester Markham and she is 66, Mother-in-Law, Born Suffolk.  Looks like widow.

James Markham is there too 29 a boarder.  Living with Robert and Sarah (transcribed as Joyce but its not) poss. Segar, a grocer?

Looks like William Markham may have died Q2 1851.

I don't have time to study this better for the moment, perhaps someone else will have a look (Class: HO107; Piece: 1780; Folio: 222; Page: 6)

If not and you do not have access to the census, I will return to it later.

Unfortunately as William died prior to the 1851 census the only information online about him, apart from his death,  is the 1841 Census:

Bradfield, Essex
William Markham 50 Ag Lab Born in County
Esther Markham  50             Born in County
Robert Seagers   20   M S    Born in County
Sarah Seagers    20             Born in County
Sarah Ann Seagers 2 months Born in County
HO 107/338/6

So its down to Parish registers.  Perhaps someone has Essex baptisms and marriage
index.

Hi Blackangel;

This is all I can find Shocked

Baptism;
Sarah Markham
15 November 1813, Southchurch, Essex
Parents, William Markham and Esther

POSSIBLE baptism for William, born c 1783 going by Esthers age in census and Williams in 1841 which would be rounded.

William MARKHAM
31 October 1783
St Paul Covent Garden, St Martin in the Fields, Middlesex
Mother, Elizabeth Markham
Notes, Illegitimate P
From Freereg.
