Hi I'M trying to trace John Sutherland & Annie Fraser Married 1874 in Dornoch the marrage certificate is unreadable can anyone out there help!

Hi Neil

If the marriage certificate is so poor have you asked SP to look at their records and provide you with a better copy? Alternatively post a part here and see if anyone can help you with it - but not the complete certificate.

Scotland's People are very good at helping if the image you have is unreadable. You can report an illegible image through the "contact us" link at the bottom of the page. If you like you can PM me and I'll let you know my email address to send me a copy and I can have a go for you.......getting quite a dab hand at that game now.   Cheesy

I see the marriage is on IGI - 4th June 1874 -  Dornoch, Sutherland

Maybe someone has parish records for Dornoch?
