« on: Saturday 20 June 09 21:28 UTC (UK) »

Hi .. my grandmothers brother and sister emigrated to the USA I estimate sometime between 1911 and approx 1920 . Names are John Ward and Elizabeth ( Lily) Ward marriage name Kelly I`m unsure if she married there or in ireland.. an old postcard i have gives an address for Elizabeth at 1763 Swain St . Philadelphia . I have another address but i cant make it out .. They were originally from Artane in Dublin Their parents my great grandparents were Thomas and Catherine Ward ( Ryan ) and rest of family named  Josephine, Sarah, Jane, Hannah, Thomas, Bridget, Rosanna, ( my grandmother )
John was born in 1893 and Elizabeth in 1895 .. One of them had a son Jack born in 1918 and a grandaughter dont know her name but i`v a photo of her taken in Sequoia National park on June 12th 1945 age 9 months so good chance she still with us.. Thats about as much information as i have an i hope to make a later post with some photos etc ..

many thanks from Dublin Ireland  ... Anthony ..

Are you sure on the dates? (them born in the 1860s, son born in 1918...  Huh) You say post-1911 - do you have them on the 1911 Irish census, then?
