I am looking for Frank and Ashleigh Collins last known at Mangatoki, Taranaki. Their mother was Julia Elizabeth Turkington born 1900.

The mother's name was Julia Elizabeth and she was married to George Collins. Thanks for the marriage date, I didn't have that.
Now that I have the newspapers and web sites I can start looking. Hope you didn't mind me joining you both to thank yous, it saves me some typing, thanks again for all the info.

Hi althea,
Julia's parents were Samuel and Mary Anna Turkington, who emigrated from Moira Down Ireland in 1897. Samuel's brother, Frank, also went to New Zealand but his movements are a bit of a mystery, and we have just found out he may have known Julia when he was living there.
Samuel was the son of Robert & Anne (Woods) Turkington and Mary Anna Stevenson they were married in Magheralin Church of Ireland 1894
