Do you live in or near Plymouth?

Just a reminder that tomorrow, 22nd June, the Plymouth and West Devon Record Office is hosting an "Archives from the Attic" day in Plymouth Guildhall - see http://www.devonfhs.org.uk/pwdro22062009.pdf

Bring your old papers and archives and meet the staff of Plymouth and West Devon Record Office.
Do you have interesting material in the attic or tucked away in a drawer?
A chance to share your memories, experiences and stories through diaries, letters, photographs, plans, property deeds, business and society records and other documents.
Learn about what archives offer the community and how they can be better preserved.

Even if you don't have anything to bring, please come along and support the event. There will be lots of displays to see and local societies will be in attendance.
