It can't do you any harm to reply to the email asking to see the papers..this person already has your Email address..If he asks for money or anything else forget it..If he wants to send you any files make sure they are not any EXE files and always use an Anti Virus when opening any email from anyone ..including people you know.

Another way to keep your computer safe is to use a computer in a public library. You can get the info you want & the library wipes their system at the end of the day.

  My thank's to all who responded to my query.

   I did as Woody suggested, and the email was quite legit!

    I won't reveal  the content as yet, but I was really pleased that I did open it..

  I will bear all your tips in mind for future reference.
