I think it's probably in Shropshire/Salop but googling comes up with Cornwall but a slightly different spelling...

Thanks for that and not out of turn at all but I'm looking for somewhere of this name in Shropshire as Cornwall was a very long way from Shropshire back then Thank you x

We are talking late 1700 early 1800 but I can't find any connection of St Newlyn in Pyder with Shropshire even though one Pallot (wife) states that was the area of marriage but the other (husband) states Great Ness which is where the family were at the time
