Hi,

Does anyone know how I can find out more about some of my ancestors who fought in WW1, the records on Ancestry.com are ok but do not supply an address so I am not sure if I have the correct person, also I have medal records but cannot tell if they are for different people or the same person as also there is no address.  They are all from Blackburn in Lancashire.

I live in Denmark and cannot come over to KEW but am due in Lancs in October.

Anybody got any suggestions.

Post your rellies details in the Armed Forces ww1 sub section.Youll get stacks of help there.There are other avenues...Did any of them get killed in the war?

It's easier to find those who died in WW1 than the survivors.  Did you actually find the records or medal lists?   I searched for ages before I found my uncle's records complete with addresses and details of his possessions and last will and testament.  I can have a look for you if you send me the details.  x x
