Hi, I have been looking for the following family in 1841 without any success.
William Brummitt (b. c.1798)
Sarah (c. 1796)
George (1823)
Harriett (1825)
John (1827)
Henry (1829)
Sophia (1832)
Ann (1834)
William (1837)
Samuel (1839)
All children were born and baptised at Warsop, Notts. William & Sarah and sons Wm, Geo and Sam are living in Warsop in 1851. Some of the other children may have died.
The son Henry "Harry" Brummitt MIGHT have been my ancestor, but I haven't been able to find him in any census since he died age 31 in 1858, so maybe this is the right family.

Thanks very much for finding that. After not finding the record on Ancestry I assumed they must have just been transcribed incorrectly. I can't work out why the image isn't on there but it's on another site where I found it.
Henry/Harry married in 1854 to Eliza Turner of Bassingham, Lincolnshire. They lived in Brant Broughton, where they had two children, Samuel (1855) and Sarah Ann (1857). Samuel died in 1858 just a few months before his father. Eliza went on to have four more daughters in Caunton, notts, then she married the father Francis Wombwell years later...anyways that's another story.
The Brummitts have been eluding me for a long while so I looked at the IGI and saw that there were 2 Henry Brummitts around 1827 - one being in Yorkshire and the other in Warsop. I'm guessing that this might be the right one but I need more info to be sure.

Yes, thanks, that's what I've decided I'll do. Some of the other siblings can't be found in 1851 so maybe Henry "vanished" with them.
By the way, I think that one page that the Brummitts are on it missing from Ancestry because the very next page is on there! Oh well, we've found it now.

William Brummitt married Sarah Paulson 18.9.1822 at Edwinstowe, Notts
There are two William Brummitt's baptised at Warsop.
William Brummitt to George & Sarah 18.2.1786
William Brummitt to John & Nanny 13.12.1797
Burials at Warsop
Sarah Brummitt buried 17.1. 1857 aged 61 - wife of William
William Brummitt buried 4.7.1872 aged 74
Samuel Brummitt buried 15.10.1863 aged 24
Ann Brummitt buried 24.8.1852 aged 3 - dau of Harriett
