belongs to the Families in British India, but having trawled through I can find no record of REPULSE arriving in 1839 nor of a Hamilton embarked.  You might like to consider contacting them to ask for guidance.

Thanks for that it is so very annoying. Its a wonder a woman being aboard pregnant and giving birth on the ship in those time its a wonder he survived.

Yes I am just looking at that. But all that form gives me is at hampton court doesnt say where william was born or caroline or date of birth shame that is, at least I got this far.
