Hi Alan

I have tried to send you a personal message but it bounced back saying I had reached my limit. Apparently when sending PMs to new members they must have at least three postings. You have sent three postings to me so I don't know what to do now.

Perplexed

Try sending ia PM me and I'll forward it to Alan

or Ask Alan to send you a PM and answer his Quote back as it will be his PM Reply. Think they got tech issues at the moment.

3 posts may mean 3 Topic starts. or 3 separate members.

otherwise contact rootschat admin

In my opinion the marriage residence is not always the place of birth. Never forget Workhouse and overseers accounts records of birth.

Hi D

Alan has some personal info about the Clack's from Filkins. He lived in Filkins in the 1940s/50s and knew the Clack family. He needs my email address so that he can send me a PM.

Once again, thanks for your help.

Ps Maureen
Just a word of warning. Common sence and taking care is enough.
These graveyards can be full of hidden Dangers!!*** two main are loose headstone and probabley more is sinkage in long grass!. The older graves have Pit hole as the soil cracks a over time as the coffins cave in and leave uneven sinkage hence the deep hidden holes. Fresh cut grass if it was long before being cut? can be worse as they look safe**** but the fresh cuttings cover these hidden dangers. Proad and pock with a stick first on the said grave.

Take care
