July Edition of Your Family Tree
« on: Tuesday 23 June 09 07:45 UTC (UK) »

Hello,

I wrote in to FMP because I didn't know what to do about my Cutler family on the 1891 census - is there a mention of this in YFT July edition? I need to take out a subscription but haven't as yet.

Thanks
Matt

Hi Matt,

I've checked the Letters, Expert Q&A and Seeking sections, nothing mentioning the Cutlers, or anything from anyone called Matt.

Perhaps next month?

Bob.

Matt, watch out for special offers from Findmypast and Ancestry. They've both had reduced price subs., recently  Wink
Good luck with your search.
Post a bit of info here about your Cutlers and see if anyone can help you out.

Hi Matt,

Your question is on page 68 of the August edition of Your Family Tree mag.

The answer seems to be that the enumerator may just not have called. Some areas of Manchester were "no go" areas. Looks like a trip to Smiths is called for Wink

I've tried scanning the image, but can't get it small enough to attach and still be readable.

You could probably just buy the August edition if you go to their site - in September Grin and buy a back copy.

Yes you could, but a subscription works out cheaper over the year. Also, if you save your Tesco vouchers, you can use them for a sub...so check it out  Wink
