I am interested to know if the Imrie Medal for religious education was given by my ancestors They were James Imrie and his wife Janet Strachan, who were wood merchants of Kinrossie They had a family of three boys all who went into the ministry William ,David and James and several daughters, one an Emily a dressmaker who never married . I think she could have taught at the Collace school at one time She lived in Glasgow for a time

Have you looked in the National Archives catalogue? www.nas.gov.uk There are lots of references to Imrie there, including  ED23/1443  Perth and Kinross Educational Trust Scheme, 1964: Imrie Bequest (Collace Public School) No closure period.
