Hi,

For years family  has been said that Christopher Murray c. 1856 was born Rathmines  Dublin Ireland.

Now with access to the 1911 census I find that his place of birth is listed as Ireland, Co Armagh -
can anyone tell me where I go from here.

He married in Salford 1876 - the R.C church records for this gave his parents as Thomas and Bridget Murray.

This is on my father's side of the family and unfortunately I started looking after my dads death in 1990 - since then his only two remaining siblings have passed away - giving me no further info.

Any help at all would be appreciated.
