There is still quite an annoying bug on Ancestry when you're entering places of birth, and Ancestry uses some Java code to provide suggestions.  This still doesn't work properly with IE8, even when in compatability mode.  It's more of an annoyance than anything else, and I don't want to go back to IE7 because of it, because I do like the new features in IE8.  I emailed Ancestry about the problem, but at that time IE8 was still in beta-test, and they didn't want to know.  Hopefully, when enough Americans have started to use IE8 and complain about it, we may get it fixed.
