Hello,
I would like a 1920 and a 1930 lookup for the family of Sherman Piper. I was able to find the 1900 census information through familysearch.org.
The 1900 census of Maine, County Androscoggin, town of Minot, enumeration district 30, sheet 18, shows the family headed by Sherman Pipper, age 34. Should be Piper. Sherman was born in Maine, March 1866.
Maggie, his wife, was born in Canada in September of 1870.
They have four children . They are Susie M age 6, born Sept 1893; Charles H age 5, born 1895; Etta M age 4, born 1895; Alice A age 2, born March 1898. There is something amiss with the bithdates of Charles and Etta.
Maggie, the daughter of Mary McIntyre and Thomas Carrell, was born in Northumberland County, New Brunswick, Canada.
Sherman's parents , Jacob and Esther Piper are listed as family 454.

That was quick. Thank you very much. You must have read my mind. I kicked myself after I had posted my request. Foggy brain. I did mean to request the 1910 census since some of the children would have left the family home by 1930.
Are you able to do a 1930 lookup for sons Jacob A and Edman Q? It is possible they remained in Maine. The daughters would be more difficult to find.
Again, much thanks. I have been looking for this branch for ages. I just found the marriage between Maggie Carrell and Sherman Piper the other day, 1893 Northumberland County, New Brunswick. Carrell had become Carroll. I could find no Sherman Piper in any Canadian census so I then looked to Maine.
