Bourne family

The long reply has nothing to do with william beavan ward but relates to a host of enquiries I made regarding Thomas Bourne 1803 Wybunbury - however, my threads were probably started about 3 years ago - good luck if you can find them!

It seems to be related to this thread:  http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,63849.0.html  I'm checking to see if a global moderator can merge these two threads, as it doesn't appear that this branch has anything to do with the US.

My grandfather was Cecil Pointon, born 1902 Staffordshire.  He married Amy Walters at St Saviours church, Smallthorne in 1932.  They had two daughters June and Pamela Pointon.  Pamela is my mother, and is living in Melbourne, Victoria Australia.  She came over in the late 60's and I was born in 1984.

I have some information on Cecils family, but am a little unsure of the precision of data.  If anyone has any related info on his parents - Frank William Pointon and Annie Maria Challinor I would be very grateful.  Cecil's brothers and sisters were Frank, Rose, Gladys, Annie, Walter etc.

Hiya, it might be worth having a look on tribal pages thinking it is tribalpages.com - we have been in touch with someone on there who had a large no of pointons in her tree. they might link up. Also we have a site on myheritage.com with many pointons so they could be on there. Jax
