Helping folks in New South Wales
« on: Wednesday 24 June 09 13:14 UTC (UK) »

Hi
I wonder if someone can tell me how I can find these two folks.I know that they are still alive because I found them on 192.com but it does not give their address or phone number.
The man in question was on submarines and I am trying to help his old friend Billy Wells who lives in New South Wales to find him.As you can guess the time is running one for these to chaps to get in contact with each other.
I would dearly love to help them find each other before it's too late.
I am not sure if I should put their names online so if anyone can tell me how I could find them it would be great.
I did wonder if my local library would be able to help?
I do hope someone can tell me how to go about this.
Regards Chris

Tuffy post!

The electoral registers held at local libraries around S/Wales will have their addresses if you can refine the area of southwales they live. Also there are websites for finding people also write ?phone the British legion address below. Also they could be in council or private old peoples homes. so Look for these online and contact!

Write
phone (01792) 410480
45 Newton Road, Swansea, SA3 4BD

You could try the Phone directory 118 Directory enguires but they may need more info to refine their search and expensive.

hope it helps

In my opinion the marriage residence is not always the place of birth. Never forget Workhouse and overseers accounts records of birth.

Chris you may receive more help placing your request on one of the English boards as you appear to be seeking people living in England.

192.com gives you information on people, businesses and places in the UK

One chatter is under the impression you are seeking people in South Wales.

Cheers and good luck

Hi Cando

I was'nt sure! But the info of Subs and 192 made me think South Wales UK! finding folk and service men/women covers both areas anyway!
